Things we make
A mistake : She made a few mistakes on the exam . (errors)
A meal : I had to make my own dinner last night. (prepare and cook something to eat.)
Money : He made a lot of money when he worked in California.(earned money)
Friends : It’s not easy to make friends in a new place.
A decision : We can take the red one or the green one , but we have to make a decision.(choose red or green) now.
Noise : I can’t work when the children make a lot of noise.
Progress : Her English is good now ; She’s made a lot of progress.(improvement)

Homework : I forgot to do my math home work lastnight.
the housework : My father does all the housework in our house (the cleaning)
the shopping : I always do the shopping on weekends. (buy food)
research : she’s doing research in genetics. (detailed study)

Something / anything / nothing : I didn’t do anything last night – they do nothing all day long.

A course : I took a one – week course on word processing.
An exam : I’m going to take four exams next month.
A photo/picture : we took lots of photos/pictures on our vacation.
A bus/train/plane/taxi: we were late , so we took a taxi to the airport.
A nap (a short sleep) : I like to take a nap in the afternoon.
A bath/shower : I always take a bath/shower in the morning.

Part 3 : (Grammatical point )
Past continuous and simple past:
Past continuous :
This time I was living in
I was playing in tennis court.
This tense shows that you were in the middle of the action .
Simple past :
The police stopped me for speeding.
She passed her exam because she studied very hard.
In this tense (simple past) you accomplished(completed) the action in the past.
Compare :
When Beth arrived , we were having dinner. (=We had already started dinner.)
When Beth arrived , we had dinner. (=Beth arrived and then we had dinner.)

با سلام مجدد؛ امروز میخوام یکسری از لغات باحال انگلیسی رو براتون بزارم به اضافه یکسری جملات به درد بخور در مکالمات روزمره که بطور معمول استفاده میشه :
ساخت و پاخت کردن / تبانی کردن ................................... collusion
افترا/تهمت زدن (به کسی) ................................................ slander
چوبهء دار.................................................................... gallows

خوب برای بهتر شدن وبلاگ نظر یادتون نره ... آخه از قدیم گفتن یه نظر حلاله..!!!!
نکته دوم هم اینکه نظر یادتون نره....
He is selfish
He is being selfish
خوب تفاوت این دو تا جمله چیست و کاربردشون در کجاست؟ جمله اول میگه "اون یه فرد خودخواه است" و به این معناست که طرف یکی از صفاتش خودخواه بودن است یعنی خودخواه بودن تو خونشه اما در جمله دوم وقتی بگیم He is being selfish یعنی برای لحظاتی ازخودش رفتار خودخواهانه نشون داد (خودخواه بودن جزو صفات طرف نیست)
He's being = he's behvaing/ he's acting
More examples
I can't understand why he's being so selfish . he isn't usually like that (being selfish =behaving selfishly at the moment)
